Grinnell glacier trail

For the first hike of glacier we headed up the Grinnell glacier trail. 

Beautiful day. Started off at swift current lake. 

Josephine lake was next. 

And then glacier lake. 

Salamander glacier in the distance. 

Heading up and up to the upper glacier lake and ice! 

Walking along a waterfall. Less waterfall this time of year! 

Chipmunk friend. 

And almost to the glacier. 

Almost there!  A lot of uphill in the heat but a great hike so far!
