**blogger screwed up, so the pictures and the captions are no longer together...**
Friday night was Nick's work holiday party, on the TSS Earnslaw. The Earnslaw is a steamer which still uses coal as it has for decades. Now it is a tourist boat taking you around Lake Wakatipu.
We went to Walter Peak station, beautiful night and sunsets after 9pm now that it's almost summer!
The station is still a working sheep farm and also has the restaurant and grounds for tourists. Gorgeous views looking back to town as well.
And finally approaching sunset...
After dinner we saw a demonstration of the dogs going to get the sheep, and then a shearing.
And more pictures of the lake as we waited for the boat to return.
