Wednesday night I drove to Charlotte, enjoying a lovely sunset, and then to pick up nick on his first trip to the mainland US!
Of course we went to a bbq biker bar to start!
The next day we headed to crowders mountain for a gorgeous spring day.
Danger! Trails here are a little different than in New Zealand!
Lovely views and a nice beer spot.
At the top of pinnacle trail.
Next stop was the whitewater center for lunch and beers and a walk.
That night we did a st Patrick day run at triple c brewery. Nicks first run ever. He did great, even with an extra 500m thrown in.
The next morning I ran on my own while nick slept in. Gorgeous morning at freedom park. Next stop, Raleigh!
