Captain Cook Monument
At the bottom of the bay trail, I came to the Captain Cook Memorial. Plenty of Aussie plaques, but I only found one Kiwi (Otago).
Sun had come out, blue skies, and gorgeous views.
So I took a few panoramas!
And a selfie. This doesn't do justice to how hot it was....
View of the monument from the jetty.
I headed back to the bay where Captain Cook fell. Some yellow fish swimming about in the tide pools.
Somewhere here there is a plaque at the spot where he landed. I didn't find it, but enjoyed the view!
