Friday we headed out to Zermatt. The first leg of our journey was a flight from Dulles to Zurich. We got to the airport early and enjoyed snacks and beer at chef geoffs, conveniently located across from our gate.
Flying east I got to enjoy both moonrise and sunrise.
The first train was a bit hot and we were in the last car with no access to food. But the bahn from visp to Zermatt was a bit more pleasant. (After a quick run with luggage to change platforms in visp)
So many gorgeous views as we ascended up to Zermatt. As it is a car free town, everyone has to take the train to get there. The windows opened to allow fresh air so we were happy!
