Sanibel sunset

My balcony was ideal for sunset.  I enjoyed beer and a book and took a lot of pictures!  Nice relaxing weekend!

Sanibel Harbour Marriott

After the race I headed to my next hotel, farther from the race but on Sanibel Harbour.

Gorgeous resort, and free with points!

After a little pool time I headed to the spa, through the woods...

They really like cranes

Hammock land--but sad only one person at a time

And enjoyed some sashimi and a mojito in the sun!  Hard to believe it is November in the Northern Hemisphere!

Fort Myers

November 5th I headed down to Fort Myers for a 10k (turned out to be a 5 miler) and general warm sunshine.  When I planned the trip, I didn't know winter wouldn't have hit the northern states yet!

Down on the riverfront getting my packet for the race

I walked over to a brewery, but it was closed...

Finally found a pub with a craft beer wall!

And then enjoyed a nice sunset at my first hotel

The next morning I headed out early for the race.  Good way to avoid the heat.  It started and finished at centennial park

The day after DST ended, so enjoyed the sunrise....
The course headed over one bridge and then back on the one in the distance.

Good enough time to get 3rd place female!
