Redskins Game at Wembley!

Sunday morning we set out for Wembley.  After a breakfast in town, we took the tube for a bit and ended at a foggy and crowded Wembley.

There were fans wearing jerseys from pretty much every team.  I was surprised at the number of bengals fans, and I thought flights would be more difficult compared to the directs from DC.

Spent a little time in the crazed tailgate area (not a true American tailgate, but still Nick got the idea)

Then headed inside to the relative calm of the club level and beer hunting (only Bud outside!)

Teams warming up!

It got chilly pretty quickly.  I guess this is London weather.  It was a "home" Cincy game, but we represented well.

Pregame ceremony with dancers and poppys.  The poppy campaign was originally about WWI, but it a campaign to support all veterans.

And then kickoff!  Below is our first touchdown play.

I enjoyed the education on the screens for the English.

Unfortunately our lead didn't last and we ended up with a very long game, OT, and a tie!  We definitely got our moneys worth, but I would have liked a win!

My other favorite English custom--texting "anti-social behaviour."  This would be interesting at an Eagles game!
