Washington DC

Saturday we went on a whirlwind tour of DC. It was a gorgeous day.  There were a lot of people about, but not too excessive. And nick got a good fill of monuments.
Along the mall to the Capitol.
An anticircumscision rally at the Capitol.
Slightly sketchy clouds but great weather prevailed.
Capitol is slowly being refurbished.
Heading back along the mall.
And over to the White House!

A pro marijuana protest, complete with massive inflatable joint.
And kite day at the Washington monument.
Over to the World War Two memorial. There were a lot of vets from Ohio here. Pretty amazing spot.
Along the reflecting pill towards Lincoln monument.
And then over to FDR memorial.
Heading around the tidal basin for more cherry blossoms and the Jefferson memorial.
Fantastic afternoon in Washington. So glad the weather held up!
