I had a mini vacation in Washington for the American college of surgeons clinical congress. I received my fellowship in the college. Final tick box in my training!
The ceremony wasn't short. But it was enjoyable.
And I ran into a friend from nz who is now practicing in Singapore. Small world!
My hotel was without a mini fridge. I improvised.
I had some time on the first full day to wander to the national mall for sunset. Lovely weather for October!
And I also found a new beer bar! Fun 3 days in DC learning and enjoying the beautiful weather.
