For a whirlwind western NC weekend, I headed to Charlotte first for a 6k trail race. I got new socks (free with a sock trade in) and tried out some new shoes. It was wicked hot but made 4th place (missed third by 3 seconds!)
A nice cold beer at the end was more then worth it. I showered and headed to a friend's babies first birthday. More fun with the app...
With an interesting pool and mountain view.
Mom, Jesse, Jeannie, and Bob had already been out on the pubcycle. They managed to make a strong showing going to dinner then thirsty monk and Jack of the wood after!
