Ran into tons of friends at the college meeting. Including Erin and Ciara. The association of women surgeons has a social media campaign, "#ilooklikeasurgeon".
Went for a run. Lots of fog but decent temperatures. And lots of geese.
Missing the Australian beaches...
Couldn't even see the buildings this day.
I went for a walk over to the river. They have a brand new river walk that is quite nice. After dinner with Kate I would walk back along it at night.

Can't get away from trump.
The next day Ciara and I went on another run. Could actually see the buildings this time!

Enjoyed the beginnings of sunset before we had to head to our North Carolina reception.
The best views were actually in the restroom....
After the reception we headed to yet another reception, this one for the surgeons PAC. the board of governors showed up with various neon light devices. These glasses given to us by one of the cmc attendings and a college governor....cheers!
