On a moderately rainy day we headed out to find a beach. Due to the rain I hung out in the car with a book and beer and nick surfed :)
The sun eventually came out. Gorgeous afternoon. Nick enjoyed the surf.
We stopped by the lighthouse on the way back to kapa'a and saw some of hawaiis state bird, the nene.

Despite the weather had a lovely Thursday!
