After work Saturday I headed up the road to Raleigh. It was time to try out the much publicized Raleigh beer garden. with 300+ beers, it holds the guineas book of world records title of most beers in one spot.
There were definitely a lot of taps. Unfortunately the bartenders didn't quite have the beer knowledge I would have liked.
Example: do you have any Red IPAs? In response the bartender suggests a very unred session IPA. Oh well, they were doing their best.
The layout was great with 4 levels. We settled out on the true garden patio and found some nice lawn chairs to hang out in. Very good time and less crowded than I feared, in that we could get a beer in about 5-10 minutes at the bar. Will have to come back! Photo cred below to Christina!
