I did the full fernhill loop on Wednesday. It starts up one like creek trail as before, the loops up past the mountain bike trails and around to the summit. It was another perfect day, and I even had to break out the sun hat!
Along the way there was a brief waterfall detour.
And all the pipes from the power station still in place. Unlike wye creek, these are no longer used.
More excellent vistas as I kept heading upward.
Starting to glimpse the summit area where I was heading. First would go parallel to the downhill MTB trails.
