We arrived in Melbourne late, and felt even later with the 2 hour time difference from New Zealand. But we found a lovely sunset over the river at around 9pm!
On the south bank we saw a sign for a place called "meat and wine." Seemed like a good spot! It was thanksgiving after all. While we had no turkey, we did stuff ourselves.
To make up for it we went for a run to St Kilda the next morning. Cloudy and a little chilly, but it was great for running. We walked back along the beach side trail before getting on a trolley back to the city centre.
Over in docklands, the place was pretty empty. But there was a smurf exhibition apparently....
And the giant Eye. We didn't go up (way overpriced). Found a few good beers before heading back to the CBD to find more beer and food!
