Skippers Canyon

Wednesday late afternoon we drove in to skippers canyon. It is quite an entertaining drive with narrow unsealed roads. But we made it to a lovely beach.
Except for the sandflies! I devised a pretty good system of covering almost all of my body to keep from being bitten.
Great camp fire.
A little hard to drink with the sandfly gear on....
Luckily they started to go to sleep when the sunset. And it was gorgeous.
Remnants of our night. We had been car camping so could bring the good 500ml bottles!
Fireside time.
The next morning the flies were back. I went on a walk to escape and found a cute bird.
Nick put stuff away in sandfly land and we were off to the next spot!
