I picked up the gang at Routeburn shelter. Along the way I picked up a french guy and german girl hitchhiking. The girl only need to go 5km, but the guy was going to Caples track, past routeburn turn off, all the way from Queenstown (over an hour drive). Would have been a long walk!
Everyone made it and was in good spirits. We got brunch in town and then walked over to the other end of Lake Wakatipu in Glenorchy.
A little chilly and windy but gorgeous day. Now we had seen all ends of the Lake!
