We were driving to Fox Glacier this day, and made some stops in the rain along the way. The rain wasn't terrible, and it definitely helped with the sandflies! At Ships Creek we took the short Dune Lake walk through the forest just adjacent to the beach.

We walked back to the carpark along the beach. It was decently windy and some rain, but still nice to be by the water.
