For our full day in Nelson Lakes, we decided to do the Mount Robert Circuit. Luckily we had chose the walk on the correct side of the lake. This side was out of the clouds, where the mountains across the lake were socked in!
Wonderful views of Lake Rotoiti as the track wound up and up over many switchbacks. Got quite warm in the sun!
Still going up! Can almost get both bays in the lens now!
So lucky the clouds weren't on the mountain. Our views were excellent.
A panorama before we went into the forest for a little bit.
We came out to the summit with gorgeous views. It quickly got quite chilly and windy though!
