Alexandra brewery and clock.

We had a day of rain in queenstown so we drove over to Alexandra, about an hour away.  I had found that they randomly had a local microbrewery, so we headed to the Ferris Road Brewery.  Good beers, even if in a random industrial location!

After our beers we took the Otago rail trail a short way towards the also random giant clock on the hills in Alexandra.

The trail turned off along the creek and then towards the shaky bridge.  Yes, thats really the name!

On the other side of the bridge is the short (but steep) walk up to the clock.

Where we had great views of the town and of the quite variable clouds.

After a few panoramas from the top we headed back down towards town.

Quite windy on the hill!

And of course we found a vineyard at the bottom!
