We then drove up to Mount Cook Village for the hooker valley walk. We lucked out in that the rain mainly held off. But Aoraki was stuck in clouds!
Absolutely fantastic views down the valley. When we came back the next day (and even when we finished this day), this valley was completely socked in. So lucky!
