We had some adventures trying to hike. These are pictures of us on the road in Twizel trying to find the end other end of the trail.
Then, heading to queenstown via cromwell, we first tried to stop at Lake Ohau. However the road was closed due to logging so this is the closest we got!
We then finally found dry creek track (after driving past it and going to a house to ask directions).
We had to cross through farm land with a lot of cows. The first lot was ok.
But the second lot looked aggressive, and it also involved walking under the irrigation sprinklers, so we turned back!
