We got down to Christchurch where we were staying just above the tramway mall. The tram goes through the atrium...
We got Mom some gelato before walking to the botanic gardens.
Lovely walk through the gardens with plenty of greenery and gorgeous flowers. Nice to have so close to the city!

We continued back through town, past the cathedral damages by the big earthquake, and left as a memorial and remembrance.
Nice short time in the city, before having some excellent Hells Pizza!
