Lake Pukaki, kettle hole walk

From Tekapo, we headed to Aoraki/Mt Cook.  We stopped at Lake Pukaki (the southern portion), and then did the nearby kettle hole walk.

Heading up into the hills to find the kettle hole!

We parked a little far from the trailhead, but found it!

Beautiful views of the lake.  The clouds in the distance cover Aoraki.

Kettle hole below with explanation above.  It really does look like a kettle!

Perfect sun and blue sky.  We would ended up at the top of this lake later in the day at our accommodation.

Heading back down through the farm to the car.

Our car in the random parking spot I created in the distance.  Could be an outlander commercial!
