We finally went to Bendigo, which was a proper trail with no cows and no logging!
Bonus we also had wonderful views! There are several tracks around the old mining area. We took the 4km loop to start.
Remnants of the old mining homes are throughout the tracks.
And really fantastic views of the cromwell valley.
Also plenty of old min shafts!
