After a very relaxing and lovely time up at schonbeilhutte it was time to head back down the mountain. There was talk of adding on an extension to the way down. We chose not to do this, as did everyone else once they saw the 5 hour extra time. Except for Margie who was the most adventurous and got back to town around 930pm.
We went back the way we came for the most part save a road detour to avoid some really steep bits.
A few more wood carvings were along the way.

Made it down for the night and then dinner at bubble. British wait staff and yummy burgers. Post dinner drinks at my place and it was time for sleep! Long but worth it first day hike!
