Wednesday we set off for Trift. It was a bit cloudy but the cooler temperatures were welcome for the trek up. The trail is less than a mile to edelweiss and somewhere around 1100 ft elevation!
And up and up and up! Interesting sights with the clouds moving. Often you couldn't see a thing!

We hiked along the waterfall pretty much the whole hike.
A couple bridges were quite helpful.

Finally edelweiss appeared in the mist. Very welcome sight to take a wee break.
But we needed o head onward and upward to Trift!
