We very reluctantly left chez vrony and headed back down the mountain towards Zermatt. The trail from Findeln was mainly wooded and quite nice.
It popped is out into winkelmatten eventually.
A new church to photograph! All told we did 11 miles and 2200ft of elevation this day.
After the hike and a shower I headed to the park to enjoy the sunshine. On the way I spotted this puppy taking a bath in the drinking fountain....
And a little historical photography....
For happy hour I had a beer that reminded me I should never iron.
And then we had a spectacular meal at schaferstube, recommended by my friend Natalie who is living in Swirserland. Yum!!
