Z'Mutt to Wasserfall

The best part of this walk was the many many many views of the Matterhorn. And from and angle not seen on any other walk.
The Swiss have excellent signage.
Cows behind the fence (closed cows). Assume and ornate cow bells. We later had open cows with no fence often blocking the trail.
Up up up! We would eventually do 4000ft elevation and 16.2 miles.
Perfect blue sky.

Photo op aka time to pause to catch our breath.
The river below. We will go down there. And then back up....
I took a few pictures of the Matterhorn.
Tempted to stop at the closed restaurant.
Didn't actually know yet we had to go down there and back up.
Matterhorn!

And more Matterhorn!

Seriously. It was everywhere. Couldn't stop taking pictures.
Much later determined that a red circle around something indicates "don't do this". For this shot don't walk on this path in a suit and hat as rocks will fall on you.
Wasserfall in the distance. This was good as it corresponded to a map point.

More impressive close up.

And then we would end up above it!
